OMNILIGHT Tape & Channel

Architectural Light, Built to Fit

Omni Light tape and channel is a highly adaptable linear lighting system designed to integrate light directly into architecture. Rather than working with a fixed-length fixture, LED tape provides a continuous, low-profile source of illumination that can be cut and configured to suit the dimensions and details of a project.

The LED tape is installed within an aluminum channel, or extrusion, which provides a clean architectural housing, helps manage heat, and supports a diffuser or lens for a more refined, continuous appearance. Different channel profiles allow the light to be recessed, surface mounted, suspended, concealed within millwork, or integrated directly into architectural details.

The result is a flexible lighting system that can virtually disappear into the architecture while placing light exactly where it is needed.

Looking for the product shown in the video? That was Omni Light’s sample binder, which showcases their tape and channel options in one very satisfying package. Unfortunately, the binder itself is not available for purchase. I know. So sad.

Applications

Omni Light tape and channel can be specified for a wide range of architectural applications, including:

  • Cove and indirect lighting
  • Millwork and cabinetry
  • Under-cabinet lighting
  • Shelving and display lighting
  • Integrated furniture details
  • Ceiling and wall reveals
  • Recessed linear details
  • Stair and handrail lighting

  • Closets and wardrobes
  • Decorative architectural accents
  • Perimeter lighting

  • Hospitality, retail, residential, and commercial interiors

Why Do I Have to Request a Quote?

Architectural tape light is not a one-size-fits-all product. Every system is specified around the individual project, which is why Omni Light tape and channel is provided by quote rather than as a standard add-to-cart item.

A complete specification may require selecting the appropriate tape type, lumen output, color temperature, color quality, wattage, voltage, channel profile, lens, mounting method, run length, power supply, dimming protocol, controls, connectors, and environmental rating.

These components must work together as a complete system. Run lengths, electrical loads, voltage drop, driver sizing, installation conditions, and control requirements can all affect the final configuration.

Sound confusing?  To be honest, it is!  That is why we are here to help.  Just send us everything you know about your project, and we’ll help configure the appropriate Omni Light tape, channel, drivers, and accessories for a complete architectural lighting system.
